Dov Torbin’s third album arrives more than a decade after he stepped away from performing to focus on filmmaking. Torbin never stopped writing music though and over the years accumulated enough for a new album. Recorded live with friends over a weekend, This Is What It Sounds Like When Dovs Cry is a collection of Americana songs about relationships, bad habits, getting older, and the frustrating distance between knowing better and doing better.
